Mobile Productivity will be exhibiting the new Sprint for Brokers on September 22nd in London (06/09/2011)

Leasing World Expo 2011 Calling all Asset Finance Brokers – do you recognise any of these issues?

  • Your dealer always calls you to do the finance but the value of the deals, the time it takes to process them and your conversion rates, make it hard to survive.
  • Your dealers use spread-sheets to generate a quote, but sometimes they use out of date versions, resulting in incorrect quotes and all the hassle that involves.
  • Recruiting new dealers is difficult because your proposition is not that much different from anybody else’s.
  • You want staff out with the customers but your IT system means they have to be located in the office.

These are some of the issues brokers faces today. The good news is that new technology can help over-come these issues, not only driving down costs but providing something new to excite prospective dealers. The Internet, Smartphones, iPad's and cloud computing are the enablers and the results from those who have already gone down this path are compelling. To find out more visit Mobile Productivity at the Leasing World Expo exhibition hall, stand 6 and turn your broker business from a marathon to a “Sprint”.

Mobile Productivity will be exhibiting the new Sprint for Brokers on June 29th in Birmingham (21/04/2011)

NACFB Expo So, what makes Sprint different for any other broker system?

Firstly, Sprint was designed so that dealers could generate unassisted business for the broker. Effectively, the dealer does the initial costly prospecting on behalf of the broker. Secondly, Sprint’s integrated workflow alleviates monotonous data re-entry and manual documentation creation, so deals get signed off faster. Thirdly, Sprint management reports show who your key dealers are, how much to reward them and when to activate secondary rentals. This coupled with the dealer pipeline reports and individual deal status tracking incentivizes the dealer to remain loyal.

Sprint is recognized as a technologically advanced product which uses the latest web and smartphone advancements to the broker’s advantage. Come and see us at stand B2 to find out how we can transform your broker business from a marathon to a Sprint!

Mobile Productivity Limited support De Lage Landen in Italy and beyond (26/08/2010)

Responding to the needs of the Italian market, De Lage Landen commissioned Mobile Productivity to launch a new front-office eCommerce system to more than 150 Italian dealers over the course of 2009. The implementation has been in full operation for a number of months now, so what has the impact been on De Lage Landen’s business?

Hubert Borsboom, De Lage Landen Country Manager Italy, concludes that "eCommerce has improved our competitive strength in the vendor finance market and helped in realizing internal efficiency gains. The eCommerce system is supported by several interfaces, thereby allowing a direct link with other core systems. The level of manual intervention from staff has reduced, as well as the company's exposure to operational risks. It simply works, quick and accurate. This contributes to data integrity, which nowadays is getting more important due to tightened regulatory supervision from the national banks. The main advantage of eCommerce has, however, been the appreciation of our dealer community. In all market segments eCommerce has been embraced and now the vast majority of transactions are managed through our web-based front-office. A customer survey held at the end of 2009 revealed that more than 90% perceived eCommerce as an increase in service and speed. The system is considered intuitive, user friendly and -last but not least- outperforms other internet-based portals available in the market offered by the competition. All-in-all, eCommerce has strengthened De Lage Landen's ability to successfully operate in the retail market. Based on the positive experience gained in Italy, De Lage Landen has started to implement eCommerce in several other countries as well and should eventually cover an important part of our global footprint.”

Stijn Struycken, De Lage Landen International eCommerce Manager, takes up the point that the implementation is extending beyond Italy. “In line with our global strategy, the roll out of our eCommerce solution in Italy was always done with the intention to roll it out to more countries. Having been developed with multilingual and multicurrency capabilities, the subsequent rollout in Germany, the UK and Belgium was relatively straight-forward. We are now introducing the solution into Spain. The feedback from our dealers in different countries shows the benefit of the solution. In many cases it has reduced the time to close the deal from days to minutes. We are very proud to help our partners through this innovative solution, that integrates web and mobile technology, offers extensive quotation capabilities and automatic credit decisions."

Commenting on the project, Hugh Mahony, Business Development Manager at Mobile Productivity Limited, said “We are delighted to work so closely with De Lage Landen, VRL European Vendor Partnership of the Year 2009. This was a very satisfying project to bring to life. It involved seamlessly integrating into existing credit scoring and contract management systems, plus the implementation of unique and complex financing schemes.”
